SMG's private cheats run through a single universal loader across every game the team supports, from Squad and DayZ to ARK: Survival Ascended and War Thunder. Setup takes about five minutes once your antivirus and FaceIt are out of the way.
Before you launch
Two things block the loader: Windows Defender and the FaceIt anti-cheat client. Remove or fully disable both before you open the loader, not after. Real-time protection quarantines the loader's executable on sight, since any external injector looks identical to malware from a signature-scanning point of view.
Launch steps
- Download the loader from cdn.smgcheats.com/client.php.
- Open the loader and enter your license key.
- Wait for the loader to show "Press F2 in game menu".
- Launch the game and let it fully load before pressing F2.
- Confirm the loader shows "Inject successful". The cheat menu is now live in-game.
Common problems and fixes
Most launch failures trace back to one of a handful of causes.
- Loader gets deleted or quarantined on download: add a Windows Defender exclusion for the loader's folder before downloading it, not after Defender has already flagged it.
- F2 does nothing in-game: the loader needs the game fully loaded into a match or the main menu, not still on the splash screen. Wait for the exact "Press F2" message before pressing it.
- Injection fails on Windows 11: Memory Integrity (Core Isolation) blocks some external injectors outright. Turn it off under Windows Security, Device Security, Core Isolation, then restart.
- Loader hangs on key validation: check that no VPN or proxy is active, since license validation calls out to SMG's own servers.
- Black screen or crash on inject: close GPU overlays like GeForce Experience, Xbox Game Bar or MSI Afterburner before launching the loader, since they hook the same rendering layer the cheat menu needs.
If none of this fixes it, the key itself may not be activated yet. Check your order status or reach out with your order ID.
